What does the course offer?
These classes focus on teaching the students about:

Students of class 3 will learn how to:
Use numbers on motion blocks to reduce the number of motion blocks used.
Use the repeat and repeat forever blocks to make a program repeat.
Students of class 4 will learn how to:
Record sounds and add them to projects.
Create speech bubbles for characters.
Students of class 5 will learn how to:
Program characters to move at different speeds.
Pause a character’s program for a certain amount of time
Add additional pages to a project.
Students will also learn how to build fun animations and storyboards during this module.

An overview on the projects:
Animate your name: In this introductory project, coders create their name using letter sprites and use code to animate each letter when clicked. The purpose of this project is to introduce coders to creating simple algorithms using a small number of blocks in Scratch.
Knock Knock: Coders will unscramble a knock knock joke, then create their own jokes using two sprites. The purpose of this project is to introduce using wait blocks to simulate two sprites talking with each other.
Story About Me: Coders select from a variety of starter prompts, storyboard their story, then code a story about themselves. The purpose of this synthesis project is to storyboard a project and then apply understandings into a project of interest.
